About Me

Hi there! I am Nishant. I am a designer and a product leader. I am also an entrepreneur and have worked on a number of startup ideas. I like to challenge the norm in order to develop efficient and democratic systems.

The world is unfair, and I believe that those of us capable enough must try to make it fairer. I have tried to achieve the same in the educational space through my startup ideas and other projects. I like this quote by Robert F. Smith-

“We all have the responsibility to liberate others so that they can become their best selves – in human rights, the arts, business, and in life.”

Robert F. Smith

I have studied Master of Design (Interaction Design) from UNSW Sydney and Bachelor of Architecture from University of Mumbai. Towards the end of my architecture degree, I realised that I like automating repetitive tasks, which got me into programming, automation and parametric architecture. This transitioned into a liking of working at the intersection of design, technology and business and so here I am.

I like to shorten my first and last name to ‘NPaN’. I added the Latin suffix ‘-ium’ to make it ‘NPaNium’- the element of design.

That's me!

Things I like doing (apart from work)

I like reading, listening and watching stuff related to entrepreneurship. That includes podcasts, books, blogs and videos. I like traveling, eating and I am obsessed with coffee. I'm not really a sports person but I like running and cycling as it helps me relax. Hey, and I write!
